During this contemplative workshop, we will explore the CPA's Response to the Truth & Reconciliation Commissions' Final Report. Together we will engage in self-reflection and consider how respect, reciprocity, and relationality can empower meaningful community care, in alignment with the TRC's Calls to Action.
Bio: Dr. Melissa Jay is a Nehiyaw member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, a registered psychologist in Alberta, and owner/director of Canmore Counselling & the Trauma-Informed Yoga Psychology School. Her work is grounded in decolonized healing, putting social justice into action, and supporting continued learning and unlearning, across the lifespan.
