Award Ceremony and Presentation
Interested in hearing updates from Manitoba Psychological Society, looking for opportunities to celebrate the contributions of a local student and psychologist, and to learn more about inclusive processes? Then be sure to register for Manitoba Psychological Society’s virtual Annual General Meeting being held on Thursday, March 30 from 5:30 – 8:15 pm. There will be no cost for this event.
This year, in addition to the business meeting, we will be presenting the MPS Dr. John Walker Student Research Award and the Clifford J. Robson Award. Following the business meeting, Dr. Ada Sinacore will be presenting on the topic of Inclusive Processes: Building Justice Driven, Anti-Oppressive Organizations. Her biography can be found here.
Attendance at psychology association business meetings as well as education events may be considered continuing education credits for registration with P.A.M. Please arrange to complete the verification of attendance form with a colleague if you wish to claim continuing education credits. Attendance at the Annual General Meeting and Dr. Sinacore’s presentation are expected to provide approximately 1 potential credit hour for each event. MPS will not issue certificates for this event.
