MPS Social Action Committee is organizing an educational event for psychologists and psychology students aimed at increasing awareness of indigenous history and the future of reconciliation.
The first part of the event will be a 30–60 minute talk by Elder Pahan Pte San Win, who will be sharing thoughts on reconciliation and the calls to action.
This will be followed by a 30-60 minute reading of selected excerpts from the Final Report of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. Excerpts will be read by Manitoba psychologists and psychology students.
This event is open to all psychologists, psychological associates, and psychology students. You do not need to be a member of MPS to attend this free event.
