Synopsis
Over the course of decades, Dr. Barth has repeatedly been asked to contribute to publications and continuing medical education programs for a wide variety of medical academies. For this workshop, Dr. Barth has taken the information that has previously been prepared for medical academies and customized it specifically for the Manitoba Psychological Society. The American Medical Association has repeatedly listed Dr. Barth among their “internationally recognized expert authors”, and has asked him to contribute to their publications and programming for chronic pain, brain injury, and mental illness. His work for the AMA has included contributing to the Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, and the Guides to the Evaluation of Disease and Injury Causation.
Dr. Barth has been named a Fellow of the National Academy of Neuropsychology, for making “significant contributions to the science and profession of neuropsychology”.
